NEWS: With most regions currently enjoying a good season, now is the time to focus on preparing for the next drought.
FRRR (Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal) and Australian Rural Leadership Foundation (ARLF) are seeking expressions of interest from community groups across 35 agriculture-dependent regions to act as the lead organisation in their community to apply for grants between $200,000 and $500,000 to support projects that increase preparedness for future droughts in their region.
The grants are part of the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund Helping Regional Communities Prepare for Drought Initiative.
Alongside the grants, successful groups will be able to access leadership development activities led by the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation, at no additional cost.
EOIs close 26 September 2022.
