Whats happening at Yanga National Park for October

Please see below for the latest information received from Yanga National Park:

CAMPGROUND UPDATE – AS OF 16 OCTOBER 2016

Currently Mamanga campground, Woolpress Bend campgrounds and the woolshed picnic area are closed due to flooding. This is expected to continue for some weeks.

The road into Regatta Beach picnic area on Yanga Lake is getting some attention with a realignment and gravelling of some areas in time for the busy Summer months. The precinct will be closed for a few days while the roadworks are in progress.

Yanga and the Kyalite reserves now have a solid fuel fire ban in place in line with the Mid-Murray RFS Zone bushfire danger period. No open fires are permitted to be lit
