Homebush Hotel

Established in 1878, the Homebush Hotel is one of the true ‘back country pubs’ which has stood the test of time. The famous bar, with its huge central open fireplace, character filled “shearing board” mural, and many local artefacts displayed around the walls has been home to many a trapper, teamster, drover, shearer, truckie, mailman, traveller and station family and staff over the past 128 years. Located 27km north of Balranald, the Homebush Hotel stands where it was built 134 years ago and is still the mainstay of the local community. Meet the locals and enjoy a drink and a good meal. The adjacent campground offers a range of accommodation from grassed tent sites, cabins with cooking facilities, on site vans, powered van sites and backpacker style rooms.
