ANZAC Day is the solemn day of remembrance of those Australian and New Zealand Army Corps soldiers who fought and died at Gallipoli in 1915. It is also a day of remembrance for all soldiers who have fought and died for their country. It is celebrated on 25 April each year, regardless of on which day it falls.
Balranald Township will commemorate Anzac Day with a march commencing at 10.30am.
The march will proceed from the Balranald Ex-Servicemen’s Club / intersection of Market and We Streets to the Cenotaph at Anzac Park, Court Street where the service will be held from 11.00am.
