Yanga National Park Pest Management
The National Parks & Wildlife Service (NPWS) will be conducting ground shooting programs for the management of feral pest species within Yanga National Park on Friday the 12-08-22 (weather permitting).
NPWS is undertaking the management of feral pest animals to protect the biodiversity and cultural values of these conversation areas. Only qualified trained personnel will participate in the ground culling programs. These programs supplement other control measures undertaken throughout the year.
Visitor facilities will be closed to the public during the pest control operation, restrictions will be in place for other areas requiring authorised access.
