Miss Norma Male, Balranald Shire Council’s first female Shire Clerk passed away recently at the age of 101 years.
Norma served as Shire Clerk in Balranald for a period of thirty years up until 1974, so she is close to our hearts.
It was a very good attendance of relatives and friends at Norma’s funeral including Balranald people and Ex-pats, as well as local government representatives.
